Encounters

Installazione sonora generativa a 6 canali
52’34” loop da codice per Super Collider 2.2.16
2002-2003

Encounters

6-channel generative sound-installation for different interior & exterior spaces
Super Collider 2.2.16 code mixed down into 52’34” loop
composed 2002-2003

«This soundscape was composed with the programming language for real time audio synthesis Super Collider back in 2002-2003 as a micro-textural spatial composition that ebbs and flows in terms of intensity, density and pace, creating a continuous movement of swarming sounds and microscopic gestures that — potentially — coexist with the sounds of the environment. At times close enough and at times at a distance, it is a hovering, suspended sound-world of an ad libitum duration, that forms a continuum between the different levels of the interior and the exterior. In this Spazioersetti placement it will be accompanied by Alessandra Zucchi’s light-work that will add and reveal another dimension between the internal and the external and their encounters.»
